Part 1: Change an old book into an art journal
Let’s dive right in! I’ll guide you step by step to transform an old book into a personalized art journal: preparing the pages, decorating the cover, mark making, adding fabric, a flower, a ribbon… your journal is already starting to come to life.

Part 2: Create an art journal page with a pop-pup mechanism
In this second part, we’re going to create a first double-page spread full of texture, images, and emotion. From building the background to adding a character, including the pop-up and poetic little words—everything is guided to help you tell your story through images.

Bonus : Discover Suminagashi, Japanese marbled paper
Discover a meditative and playful technique to make your own marbled paper with ink: suminagashi. A beautiful way to add a unique touch to your journal—or to other creative projects!
